Counsel That You Can Trust & Depend On

Oct. 31, 2014

Tomorrow is New Years Eve, a traditional party night where folks get together to wish a farewell to 2011 and welcome in 2012. We remind all our teenagers out there to be careful, and if you are going to drink, DON'T DRIVE. A recent study discussed in the Claims Journal discussed a survey taken by Liberty Mutual Insurance and Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD).

The survey revealed that teenagers think that New Years Eve is the most dangerous holiday; however, it is still the most common night that teens drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 2300 11th and 12 th graders were asked about how dangerous they feel certain events are and the likelihood of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, New Years Eve took the cake. The 4 th of July took second place in the teenagers' minds.

In the last few months we have read a number of articles in the newspaper about alcohol related car accidents. As personal injury lawyers in Michigan City we see the injury, death and despair involved in alcohol related crashes. We ask all our neighbors to drive safely this New Years Eve so we can bring in a happy and joyful 2012.
